Founded in 1997 by Bruce McPherson, East Coast Agency of Tabor City sits on the border of North and South Carolina. We are a short distance to the beaches of NC and SC and insure many properties along the coast. This allows us to serve areas well outside of Columbus County, NC.

Like all the East Coast Agency offices, Bruce believes in supporting the communities that we serve and has been an integral part of the Columbus County community most of his life.

He has served as the MC for the annual Tabor City Yam Festival, Halloween Parade, Christmas Festivities, and Fourth of July events. Bruce has even been named Tabor City Citizen of the Year. He is active in his community, serving on the North Carolina Manufactured Housing Board and the Columbus Regional Foundation Board.

As the agency has moved to its next chapter of joining the East Coast Agency family, we will not lose sight of Bruce’s vision and will continue to be a part of the community – proudly supporting all that we can.
